Multipara Monitor

Multipara monitors help provide information on multiple parameters like ECG, blood pressure, respiration, oxygen saturation and temperature to understand the condition of patients and monitor vital signs.

A multiparameter monitor is a medical device for monitoring a patient's vital signs. It is mainly used in intensive care, hospitalization or ER. In general, basic models are used to monitor cardiac activity (ECG), blood pressure (NIBP), respiration (RESP), oxygen saturation (SpO2) and temperature (TEMP).

Infusion Pump

Infusion pumps may be capable of delivering fluids in large or small amounts, and may be used to deliver nutrients or medications – such as insulin or other hormones, antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, and pain relievers. Some infusion pumps are designed mainly for stationary use at a patient's bedside.

If a patient has very high fluid requirements, or is cold (hypothermic), a special infusion pump with a built in heater can be used. This device is used most frequently in trauma patients who are cold and need large amounts of fluid and/or blood products.

There are many types of infusion pumps, including large volume, patient-controlled analgesia (PCA), elastomeric, syringe, enteral, and insulin pumps,. Some are designed mainly for stationary use at a patient's bedside. Others, called ambulatory infusion pumps, are designed to be portable or wearable.

Defibrillators

Also known as Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD), Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD)

Defibrillators are devices that restore a normal heartbeat by sending an electric pulse or shock to the heart. They are used to prevent or correct an arrhythmia, a heartbeat that is uneven or that is too slow or too fast. Defibrillators can also restore the heart’s beating if the heart suddenly stops.

Different types of defibrillators work in different ways. Automated external defibrillators (AEDs), which are in many public spaces, were developed to save the lives of people experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. Even untrained bystanders can use these devices in an emergency.

Other defibrillators can prevent sudden death among people who have a high risk of a life-threatening arrhythmia. They include implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), which are surgically placed inside your body, and wearable cardioverter defibrillators (WCDs), which rest on the body. It can take time and effort to get used to living with a defibrillator, and it is important to be aware of possible risks and complications.

Echocardiography

An echocardiogram uses sound waves to produce images of your heart. This common test allows your doctor to see your heart beating and pumping blood. Your doctor can use the images from an echocardiogram to identify heart disease.

Allergy Skin Testing And immunotherapy

Allergy immunotherapy is indicated for the treatment of patients with allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, allergic asthma, or stinging insect hypersensitivity who have clinical symptoms with exposure and also exhibit evidence of specific IgE antibodies on testing.

Allergen immunotherapy, also known as allergy shots, is a form of long-term treatment that decreases symptoms for many people with allergic rhinitis, allergic asthma, conjunctivitis (eye allergy) or stinging insect allergy.

The test involves placing a small amount of the suspected allergy-causing substance (allergen) on the skin (usually the forearm, upper arm, or the back), and then scratching or pricking the skin so that the allergen is introduced under the skin surface.

Bronchoscopy

Bronchoscopy is a procedure to look directly at the airways in the lungs using a thin, lighted tube (bronchoscope). The bronchoscope is put in the nose or mouth. It is moved down the throat and windpipe (trachea), and into the airways. A healthcare provider can then see the voice box (larynx), trachea, large airways to the lungs (bronchi), and smaller branches of the bronchi (bronchioles).

Thoracoscopy

Thoracoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows surgeons to examine the pleural lining of the lungs and the surface of the lungs. Internal images and video obtained from this technique help doctors identify signs of pleural mesothelioma such as inflammation, pleural plaques and pleural thickening

Thoracoscopy is usually performed through one small incision. A sterilized flexible tube containing a small fiber optic camera called an endoscope is used to investigate the chest. This allows the surgeon to view your lungs on a video monitor and perform tissue biopsy.

While viewing the pleural space through the camera feed, surgeons insert tools through channels in an endoscope that can collect multiple tissue samples. Pathologists can then view these samples under a microscope to rule out other chest cancers and make a mesothelioma diagnosis.
